La Val in Alta Badia is a quiet little mountain village located on a slope in a sunny and quiet location surrounded by green pastures, lush forests and the majestic peaks of the Dolomites. Just 10 Km from the most famous tourist resorts of Alta Badia, La Val is the ideal place to spend a relaxing holiday away from traffic and noise, but at the same time at a short distance from the ski lifts and the ski resorts of Alta Badia, Dolomiti Superski and Kronplatz.

Being the first hiking destination certified in South Tyrol and forerunner of the project “European Hiking Villages”, the village of La Val offers a multitude of walks, trips and excursions practicable both in the summer and in the winter season. From a quiet walk to the characteristic little church of Santa Barbara situated in a panoramic area of the village to hiking in the mountains of Pares or Sas dla Crusc, the practicable routes from our home are so many and suitable for every taste and level of difficulty.
